The last few pictures are of a device I like to call The Flying Linked List. It was created because of a challenge by one of my bosses to make a device that would over a fan that was pointed upwards. Well, this didn't hover, but it was pretty stable and could get some considerable airtime over a fan. I called it The Flying Linked List because originally all of the blades were connected by rubber bands (to control their angle of attack) so it reminded me of a diagram of the data structure: the linked list. |
